OFFICE POLICIES AND FEES

Confidentiality:

I am required by law to maintain full confidentiality regarding all of our interactions except in these circumstances:

1) when I have your written permission to do so;
2) when I am required to breach confidentiality by subpoena;
3) when a session reveals that you may harm yourself or others;
4) when a session reveals instances of suspected abuse or neglect of a child, dependent adult or developmentally disabled person;
5) when sessions reveal that you are gravely disabled and unable to take care of your basic needs of food, clothing and shelter;

I may join a professional consultation group or engage in professional writing and training. If there is something in our work that I might want to refer to, I ask your permission to refer to it in a way that disguises your identity.

Fees and Appointments:

My fee is currently $100.00 for a 55 minute session. My fee will increase in time. Under some circumstances I will slide the fee with respect to your income and circumstances. Fees are due at the time of service. Fees will be charged for appointments that are skipped unless I am given 24 hours notice. There is no fee for appointments cancelled with 24 hours notice. If you call me in an emergency, calls longer than 10 minutes will be charged pro rata based on your fee.
